For over two decades I’ve helped organizations modernize their data, migrate to the cloud, and turn it into better decisions. These days I’m focused on AI and agentic implementations — building with Copilot Studio, Foundry IQ, and VS Code for pro-code work — while continuing to do what I love: architecting intelligent solutions, mentoring teams, and driving automation forward.

The Microsoft chapter
I spent a big chunk of my career as a Principal Architect at Microsoft, spearheading strategic planning and helping partners build automated solutions for Data Platform migrations to Azure — think heterogeneous migrations off legacy datacenters onto Azure PaaS and Microsoft Fabric. My focus has always been cloud services that streamline operations and raise the bar on quality, working closely with senior leadership on the roadmap for large-scale enterprise transformations.
Over the years, that work has meant sitting at the intersection of technical depth and business strategy — translating complex data platform decisions into roadmaps that partners and enterprise teams could actually execute against, and holding the line on architectural quality as those migrations scaled. I built my technical foundation through Microsoft’s own credentialing paths, earning certifications across Azure Data Engineering and Azure Fundamentals, and rounded that out with Microsoft’s Technical Leadership Development Program and Career Development Program — both aimed at sharpening how I lead, not just what I build.
Today that same architect’s mindset carries into AI and agentic implementations — Copilot Studio, Foundry IQ, and pro-code development in VS Code — extending the same discipline of turning ambitious ideas into production-ready systems.
And I still make time to mentor — sharing what works (and what doesn’t) in data processing and development, and staying active in the broader data community through organizations like the TDWI South FL Chapter.
Plot twist: I DJ now
After a 21-year hiatus, I picked DJing back up — started with a casual invite to a friend’s BBQ in January 2023, and that was it, I was hooked again.
