iPhone 14 Upgrade Issue and Resolution

Upgrading an iPhone 14 to iOS 17.5 presented a challenge due to insufficient storage, leading to a boot loop. Attempts to reset the phone were unsuccessful, and customer support could not resolve the issue. The solution involved using a MacBook Air to enter recovery mode and restore the phone, which finally allowed the update to complete and the phone to operate with the latest iOS. This process, although time-consuming, restored the phone’s functionality with the new update.

We had a great live presentation on November Friday 12th, 2021, at the Data Community Summit 2021. My colleague Gail Zhou, and I, presented a set of feature parities, capabilities and recommendations when migrating a Data Warehouse from SQL Server to Azure Synapse Analytics Provisioned Pool. We also went ahead and provided a hands-on demo on how to a assess the environment, as well as how to migrate objects and data from SQL Server.
